50 service strings from East Asian ports, more than any other port complex in North America.

60 weekly on-dock rail departures. Five of six terminals at the Port of Long Beach are equipped with on-dock rail. Each doublestack train can eliminate up to 750 truck trips.

50 percent of all cargo arriving at the Port of Long Beach is moved by rail. The Alameda Corridor, a $2 billion dedicated train super highway, connects the Port to the rest of the country. Rail capacity is expected to rise to 65 percent of total cargo with future projects, including Middle Harbor.

17 million people live in Southern California, the second-most populated region in the U.S. Most are within an hour's drive from the Port of Long Beach.
